How educators can collect credible learner reviews
TrueMarks ยท 2026-10-02
Plan a fair review invitation process, explain enrolment checks and keep your existing teaching platform.
Keep teaching and enrolment where they are
TrueMarks adds a public educator profile, program information and independently moderated learner evidence. It does not require you to move lessons, payments or enrolment from your existing website or learning platform. Start by identifying one real program and the information a prospective student needs to judge its fit.
Choose a fair group to invite
Define the group before collecting responses, such as learners from a completed cohort. Invite people consistently rather than selecting only those you expect to be enthusiastic. Explain that participation is optional and that honest critical feedback is welcome. Do not offer benefits in exchange for a positive score or ask to approve the wording before submission.
Explain the evidence check
Tell learners which program the invitation concerns and why enrolment evidence is requested. Use the supported verification process and share only what is necessary through the appropriate private channel. A generic review link is an invitation to contribute; it is not proof that everyone using it enrolled. Only published reviews with verified enrolment affect TrueMarks course scores.
Set expectations about publication and replies
New submissions enter moderation and are not published immediately. Educators can respond to published feedback, but cannot buy a higher rating or remove criticism because it is negative. When responding, address the specific experience, avoid disclosing learner information and describe any change you have actually made. Report evidence or policy concerns through the moderation process.
Agree the beta scope before asking your learners
TrueMarks is in a guided beta. Contact the team from the educator page to agree the assisted pilot scope, operator support and any account setup before inviting a cohort. A team-only walkthrough is a useful first step. A public profile does not promise traffic, enquiries or enrolments; the immediate aim is to make your program and the limits of its available evidence clearer.
